Our Retail Staff

When was the last time someone sat down in front of you and attentively listened to your needs and concerns? When was the last time you went shoe shopping and someone actually measured your feet and asked you questions about your lifestyle and daily activities?

At Canadian Footwear it is all part of what we call our “We Fit You” experience. When you visit any of our three Winnipeg locations, you can expect to be greeted with a smile by a knowledgeable shoe fitting specialist who cares about what you have on your feet. All of our retail staff have been trained to fit you professionally. It starts with product knowledge sessions with our suppliers to gain a better understanding of what we sell. The staff is further trained by Certified Pedorthists and Certified Pedorthic Technicians on proper shoe fitting techniques and common foot health issues. Most retail staff are also recognized as authorized “Procare Fit specialists”. The training the retail staff receive at Canadian Footwear sets them apart from other shoe fitters in the city.

The extremely knowledgeable retail management team work right along side of our shoe fitters to ensure the highest quality of service and education are provided to every customer coming through our doors. Don’t be surprised if the shoe fitter helping you calls over a manager or other team member to double-check the fit of your shoes. Making sure you leave with properly fitted footwear is our primary concern.

The retail staff take great pride in their ability to provide solutions to the many footwear related concerns they see each day. Whether it’s filling a prescription for footwear to accommodate custom orthotics, or helping you select the right shoe for your first day at the new job, our staff have the training and experience to provide you with options that work for you.
